“It is a solid product, ultra high quality. Installation was a piece of cake, so you can do it yourself (save money), just be sure not to avoid any step and you’ll find that everything flows the way it’s supposed to. When installing don’t tighten the bolts until you get the intake in the right position.
Could not find any hydraulic line, just plugged the heat shield in the hole that is shown in the picture (where the hydraulic line is supposed to be). Took me an hour and a half to get it installed and proved. Let it idle for 10 minutes or so before test driving it. You’ll have to enter your radio code after connecting the battery again, so be sure to have your owner’s manual or find your radio code in the left side of the glove box.
As for performance, I’m not going to say that it adds a lot of HP, but certainly does a difference, especially at full throttle and makes it more fun to drive.
The sound is aggressive, it is a bit loud, but acceptable. Take my words, i don’t like loudness in a car, but this intake sounds sweet, nothing unpleasant. MPG has not drop so far, maybe you could think that it’s decreased but that’s just you giving it more gas than usual, after your done experimenting with it everything goes back to normal.” – Steven
